Kiss The Scientist brighten up a hummable hybrid of alternative and emo with a blast of Southern California sunshine. Hyper riffs cruise at the speed of a convertible through the San Fernando Valley at daybreak, and the hooks stick around like the one text from your crush you won’t ever delete. The Los Angeles-based trio—Max Tomack [vocals, guitar], Devin Rodriguez [keys, guitar], and Nick Anoci [drums]—encode emotion into guitar-charged Gen-Z anthems about life, love, and everything in between. After piling up millions of streams and packing shows, the group amplify a signature sound that’s familiar, yet wholly their own on a series of 2026 singles and their forthcoming full-length debut.
“We like to think we sound similar to a band your older brother showed you,” smiles Max. “There’s a nostalgic vibe, but the production is modern. I grew up on alternative rock from the nineties and early two-thousands as well as Midwest Emo. So, we’re always trying to capture and recreate feelings. You could call it ‘Older Brother Core’, if you want!”
